EASTON — The Easton Sustainability Committee approved updated recycling and composting pages for its town resource guide but stopped short of taking a position on data center zoning. Chair McCafferty told members the panel "wasn't a part of any" of the Select Board's drafting process on zoning amendments covering data center siting and battery storage disposal, set for the Nov. 9 Special Town Meeting, and urged residents to attend individually instead. Members voted 6-0 by roll call to approve the resource guide updates.

Separately, member Rachel reported the committee's NRT fair table drew two new volunteer sign-ups, though organizers warned only five nonprofit spaces will be offered next year. Member Steve said he plans to attend a Nov. 5 informational meeting in Taunton on state DEP grant funding. The committee also discussed meeting town staff members Liz and Sean in November to request funding, a committee email address and a yard-waste collection point.
