EASTON — May 26, 2026 — Easton Planning Board unanimously approved permits for a landscaping-business duplex and a self-storage facility at its May 26 remote meeting. The board voted 4-0 to grant a special permit and site plan approval for a mixed-use duplex proposed by Rob Vieira of Vieira Landscaping at 41 Washington Street, adding a condition requiring road salt stockpiles to be stored in approved covered structures to prevent aquifer runoff. The board then voted 5-0 on both a special permit and site plan review for a three-story climatized self-storage building and accessory structure proposed by Ironwood Acquisitions LLC at 19, 23, and 27 Eastman Street, with engineer Scott Rogers of JK Homegrown Engineering confirming a peer review letter dated May 20 had resolved all outstanding comments.
