YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Easton Icehawks, part of the Eastern Shore Hockey Association (ESHA), have closed registration for all age groups for the 2026-27 season. The organization directs families with questions to info@eastonhockey.org. ESHA fields recreational-level teams (CCHL/Red) and a more competitive Tier II program (CBHL/Blue) spanning USA Hockey age levels 10U through 18U, along with 8U and 6U instructional programs that teach fundamentals and may include cross-ice games and jamborees. The youth hockey season runs from September through March, with most teams holding two evening practices a week and games on weekends. ESHA also notes that families interested in joining can sign up for a mailing list covering upcoming Icehawks events and assessments, though the group states that list is separate from season registration. Player evaluations for the 10-18 age groups are typically held in late April or early May.
